        Introduced  by  Sen. RITCHIE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Labor
 
        AN ACT to amend the workers' compensation law, in relation to  providing
          for video conferencing technology in the county of St. Lawrence
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. The workers' compensation law is amended by  adding  a  new
     2  section 138 to read as follows:
     3    §  138.  Video conferencing technology.  Video conferencing technology
     4  shall be utilized from time to time by the chair and the board to facil-
     5  itate the broadcast of proceedings and hearings at a forum open  to  the
     6  public  in  the  county of St. Lawrence in any action brought before the
     7  chair or the board.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
