Go to top STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 2280 2011-2012 Regular Sessions IN SENATE January 18, 2011 ___________ Introduced by Sen. KRUGER -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Elections AN ACT to amend the election law, in relation to limitation on compen- sation by inauguration committees The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. The election law is amended by adding a new section 14-125 2 to read as follows: 3 § 14-125. Limitation on compensation by inauguration committees. No 4 person who works on a regular basis, either with or without compen- 5 sation, for a political committee for a statewide elected office, may 6 thereafter receive compensation from a committee organized to promote or 7 aid in the inauguration of the statewide elected official for whose 8 committee such person worked. 9 § 2.
