AN ACT to amend the labor law, in relation to the project notification
fee for asbestos removal
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Section 904 of the labor law is amended by adding a new
2 subdivision 2-c to read as follows:
3 2-c. Notwithstanding any rule, law or regulation to the contrary, the
4 project notification fee imposed by subdivision two of this section
5 shall be waived if the project is being undertaken by an owner of a one,
6 two or three unit owner-occupied dwelling.
7 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
