AN ACT to amend the racing, pari-mutuel wagering and breeding law, in
relation to internet video displays of horse racing
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Section 1003 of the racing, pari-mutuel wagering and breed-
2 ing law is amended by adding a new subdivision 6 to read as follows;
3 6. In-home simulcasting, as authorized pursuant to subdivision one of
4 this section, shall not be defined to include internet video displays of
5 horse racing. Nothing in this section shall be construed to prevent
6 racing associations or corporations from displaying live internet video
7 of their races on their individual websites.
8 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
