AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to creating
annual reporting obligations by municipal housing authorities to the
authorities budget office with respect to state-funded activities of
such municipal housing authorities
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Section 2801 of the public authorities law is amended by
2 adding a new subdivision 4 to read as follows:
3 (4) Municipal housing authorities. For the municipal housing authori-
4 ty fiscal year ending in the calendar year following the calendar year
5 of the effective date of this subdivision, and annually thereafter,
6 every municipal housing authority created by the public housing law
7 shall submit to the chief executive officer, the chief fiscal officer,
8 and the authorities budget office for their information, annually not
9 more than ninety days and not less than sixty days before the commence-
10 ment of its fiscal year, in the form submitted to its board, budget
11 information on operations and capital construction setting forth the
12 estimated receipts and expenditures for the next fiscal year and the
13 current fiscal year, and the actual receipts and expenditures for the
14 last completed fiscal year, for all projects and activities funded in
15 whole or in part by the state.
16 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
