        Introduced by Sen. SEPULVEDA -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Codes
 
        AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to defining a victim of a
          sexual offense
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Paragraph (i) of subdivision 1 of section 108 of the execu-
     2  tive law, as added by chapter 141 of the laws of  2019,  is  amended  to
     3  read as follows:
     4    (i)  "Victim of a sexual offense" means a victim of any act constitut-
     5  ing an offense as defined  under  article  one  hundred  thirty,  and/or
     6  sections  245.15, 255.25, 255.26, and 255.27 of the penal law, including
     7  threats or attempts to commit such offenses.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
