        Introduced by Sen. MAZIARZ -- (at request of the New York Power Authori-
          ty)  -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be commit-
          ted to the Committee on Finance
 
        AN ACT to amend chapter 410 of the laws  of  2009,  amending  the  state
          finance  law relating to authorizing the aggregate purchases of energy

          for state agencies, institutions, local governments,  public  authori-
          ties and public benefit corporations, in relation to the effectiveness
          thereof
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 410 of the laws of 2009, amending  the
     2  state  finance  law  relating  to authorizing the aggregate purchases of
     3  energy for  state  agencies,  institutions,  local  governments,  public
     4  authorities  and  public  benefit  corporations,  is  amended to read as
     5  follows:
     6    § 3. This act shall take effect immediately and shall  expire  and  be
     7  deemed repealed July 31, [2011] 2015.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
