        Introduced  by  Sen.  SMITH  -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Corporations,  Authorities
          and Commissions
 
        AN  ACT  in  relation  to  discontinuing the Cross Bay Veterans Memorial
          Bridge toll plaza
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-

        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1. Notwithstanding any contrary provision of law, the Tribor-
     2  ough bridge and tunnel authority shall discontinue the Cross Bay  Veter-
     3  ans  Memorial  Bridge  toll  plaza  in  the  county  of  Queens  for the
     4  collection of tolls.
     5    § 2. This act shall take effect on the thirtieth day  after  it  shall
     6  have become a law.
