AN ACT in relation to directing the department of health to extend the
New York state Medicaid doula services pilot program
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Notwithstanding any other law, rule or regulation to the
2 contrary, the department of health shall extend the New York state Medi-
3 caid doula services pilot program in Erie county under the same terms
4 and conditions until March 1, 2027. The cost to administer such program
5 extension shall not exceed $500,000 over four years.
6 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to
7 have been in full force and effect on and after February 28, 2023.
