PARKER, KRUEGER -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Finance -- recom- mitted to the Committee on Finance in accordance with Senate Rule 6, sec. 8 -- reported favorably from said committee, ordered to first and second report, ordered to a third reading, amended and ordered reprinted, retaining its place in the order of third reading -- again amended and ordered reprinted, retaining its place in the order of third reading -- again amended and ordered reprinted, retaining its place in the order of third reading AN ACT to amend the state finance law, in relation to funds of the state The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 106 of the state finance law, is amended by adding 2 a new subdivision C to read as follows: 3 C. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this section, the comp- 4 troller shall not designate for the deposit of moneys by state officers, 5 state institutions and charitable and benevolent institutions supported 6 in whole or in part by the state a banking institution to which the 7 Community Reinvestment Act of 1977, United States P.L. 95-128, applies 8 unless such institution shall have received a record of performance no 9 lower than "satisfactory" as determined under such act in accordance 10 with section twenty-eight-b of the banking law. 11 § 2. This act shall take effect on the one hundred eightieth day after 12 it shall have become a law. EXPLANATION--Matter in italics (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [] is old law to be omitted.
