AN ACT to amend the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to sales
and deliveries of liquor and wine to not-for-profit organizations
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Section 101-aa of the alcoholic beverage control law is
2 amended by adding a new subdivision 2-a to read as follows:
3 2-a. Notwithstanding section two of this chapter, a manufacturer or
4 wholesaler licensed under this chapter shall sell or deliver liquor or
5 wine to any not-for-profit organization on terms requiring payment by
6 such not-for-profit organization for such alcoholic beverage on or
7 before the final payment date of the credit period for which delivery is
8 made.
9 § 2. Section 101-aaa of the alcoholic beverage control law is amended
10 by adding a new subdivision 2-a to read as follows:
11 2-a. Notwithstanding section two of this chapter, a manufacturer or
12 wholesaler licensed under this chapter shall sell or deliver liquor or
13 wine to any not-for-profit organization on terms requiring payment by
14 such not-for-profit organization for such alcoholic beverage on or
15 before the final payment date of the credit period for which delivery is
16 made.
17 § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
