AN ACT to amend chapter 391 of the laws of 2007 relating to directing
the law revision commission to make recommendations to the legislature
concerning a proposed revision of the alcoholic beverage control law,
in relation to when certain reports are due
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 391 of the laws of 2007 relating to
2 directing the law revision commission to make recommendations to the
3 legislature concerning a proposed revision of the alcoholic beverage
4 control law, as amended by chapter 73 of the laws of 2008, is amended to
5 read as follows:
6 § 3. The law revision commission shall make a preliminary report to
7 the governor and the legislature of its findings, conclusions, and
8 recommendations not later than September 1, 2008, and a final report of
9 its findings, conclusions and recommendations not later than [June 1]
10 September 30, 2009, and shall submit with its reports such legislative
11 proposals as it deems necessary to implement its recommendations.
12 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
