        Introduced  by  Sen.  FUNKE  -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Environmental Conservation
 
        AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to hunt-
          ing safety instructors
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Section  11-0715 of the environmental conservation law is
     2  amended by adding a new subdivision 2-a to read as follows:
     3    2-a. A resident of the state who has been an instructor of  a  hunting
     4  safety  course approved by the commissioner and who has completed his or
     5  her instruction relative to such course shall be entitled to  receive  a
     6  hunting license free of charge for the next license year beginning after
     7  the date when such course of instruction was completed.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
