AN ACT to amend the civil service law, in relation to extending binding
arbitration
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Paragraph (d) of subdivision 4 of section 209 of the civil
2 service law, as amended by section 9 of part A of chapter 504 of the
3 laws of 2009, is amended to read as follows:
4 (d) The provisions of this subdivision shall expire [thirty-six years
5 from July first, nineteen hundred seventy-seven] July first, two thou-
6 sand seventeen, and hereafter may be renewed every four years.
7 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
