        Introduced  by COMMITTEE ON RULES -- read twice and ordered printed, and
          when printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules
 
        AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation  to  reasonable  accommo-
          dations for protected classes
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Paragraph (c) of subdivision 3 of section 296 of the execu-
     2  tive law, as amended by a chapter of the  laws  of  2015,  amending  the
     3  executive  law  relating to the unlawful discriminatory practice because
     4  of familial status, as proposed in legislative  bills  numbers  S.4  and
     5  A.7317, is amended to read as follows:
     6    (c)  Nothing  in this subdivision regarding "reasonable accommodation"
     7  or in the chapter of the laws of two thousand fifteen which  added  this
     8  paragraph  shall  alter, diminish, increase, or create new or additional
     9  requirements to accommodate protected classes [pursuant to this article]
    10  other than the additional requirements as explicitly set forth  in  such
    11  chapter of the laws of two thousand fifteen.
    12    §  2.  This  act  shall  take  effect on the same date and in the same
    13  manner as a chapter of the laws of  2015,  amending  the  executive  law
    14  relating  to  the  unlawful  discriminatory practice because of familial
    15  status, as proposed in legislative bills numbers S.4 and  A.7317,  takes
    16  effect.
