AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to reporting
requirements for resource sharing between the power authority of the
state of New York, the department of transportation and the canal
corporation
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Section 1005-d of the public authorities law, as added by
2 part LL of a chapter of the laws of 2017, amending the public authori-
3 ties law and the public officers law, relating to the sharing of employ-
4 ees, services and resources by the power authority of the state of New
5 York, canal corporation and department of transportation, as proposed in
6 legislative bill numbers S. 2008-c and A. 3008-c, is amended by adding a
7 new subdivision 12 to read as follows:
8 12. The authority shall prepare and submit to the governor, the tempo-
9 rary president of the senate, the speaker of the assembly, the attorney
10 general, and the comptroller on or before the first day of February of
11 each year, a report detailing each specific instance of resource sharing
12 between the department, the authority, and the canal corporation under-
13 taken pursuant to this section during the preceding calendar year.
14 § 2. This act shall take effect on the same date and in the same
15 manner as part LL of a chapter of the laws of 2017, amending the public
16 authorities law and the public officers law, in relating to the sharing
17 of employees, services and resources by the power authority of the state
18 of New York, canal corporation and department of transportation, as
19 proposed in legislative bill numbers S. 2008-c and A. 3008-c, takes
20 effect.
