        Introduced  by  Sen. HELMING -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Environmental Conservation
 
        AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to hunt-
          ing in Seneca county; and to amend chapter 73  of  the  laws  of  2015
          amending  the  environmental  conservation law relating to authorizing
          hunting in the county of Seneca, in relation to making such provisions
          permanent
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.    Paragraph  a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of the
     2  environmental conservation law is amended by adding a new  item  (l)  to
     3  read as follows:
 
     4  (l) The county of         Deer and bear, the first  Pistol, shotgun,
     5    Seneca                  Saturday after November   crossbow, muzzle
     6                            15 through first          loading firearm,
     7                            Sunday after              rifle or long
     8                            December 7                bow only

     9    § 2. Section 2 of chapter 73 of the laws of 2015 amending the environ-
    10  mental conservation law relating to authorizing hunting in the county of
    11  Seneca is amended to read as follows:
    12    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however, that[;
    13  a.]  the  amendments  to  item  (i)  of  paragraph a of subdivision 2 of
    14  section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law  made  by  section
    15  one of this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such
    16  paragraph  pursuant to section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as
    17  amended[; and
    18    b. nothing contained in this act shall be construed so  as  to  extend
    19  the  provisions  of this act beyond October 1, 2017, when upon such date

     1  this act shall expire and  the  provisions  contained  herein  shall  be
     2  deemed repealed].
     3    §  3.  Item  (f) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of
     4  the environmental conservation law, as amended by  chapter  199  of  the
     5  laws of 2016, is amended to read as follows:
 
     6  (f) Southern tier,        Deer and bear, first      Pistol, shotgun,
     7    central and Western     Monday after November     crossbow, muzzle
     8    region, except those    15 through first          loading firearm
     9    counties or portions    Tuesday after             or long bow only
    10    thereof listed in       December 7
    11    item (i), (j), (j)
    12    [or], (k)
    13    or (l) of this
    14    paragraph
 
    15    §  4.  This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however, that
    16  sections one and three of this act shall take effect upon the expiration
    17  and reversion of paragraph a subdivision 2 of  section  11-0907  of  the
    18  environmental conservation law, as provided in section 13 of chapter 600
    19  of the laws of 1993, as amended.
