BROOKS -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Consumer Protection AN ACT to amend the general business law, in relation to the advertising of electronic cigarettes The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. The general business law is amended by adding a new section 2 399-ggg to read as follows: 3 § 399-ggg. Advertisement of electronic cigarettes. No advertisement 4 for such products shall be deemed to place such products as having a 5 positive impact on a person's life or well-being. 6 § 2. The act shall take effect immediately.
