Provides that the open season for hunting coyotes shall be all year long, provided that the county legislature has a resolution authorizing such hunting within the county.

AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to
establishing the open season for hunting coyote in certain circum-
stances
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Paragraph o of subdivision 2 of section 11-0905 of the
2 environmental conservation law, as amended by chapter 911 of the laws of
3 1990, is amended to read as follows:
4 o. Coyote [Fixed annually Fixed annually
5 by regulation] by regulation
6 After December
7 31, 2017, the open
8 season for these
9 species shall be all
10 year, provided, that
11 the county legislature
12 passes a resolution
13 authorizing such hunting
14 within the county.
15 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
