        Introduced  by  Sen. METZGER -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules
 
        AN ACT to amend chapter 510 of the laws of 2013, authorizing the city of
          Middletown to enter into a contract to sell or  pledge  as  collateral
          for  a loan some or all of the delinquent liens held by such city to a
          private party or engage a private party to collect some or all of  the
          delinquent  tax  liens  held  by  it, in relation to the effectiveness
          thereof
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Section 3 of chapter 510 of the laws of 2013, authorizing
     2  the city of Middletown to enter into a contract to  sell  or  pledge  as
     3  collateral  for  a loan some or all of the delinquent liens held by such
     4  city to a private party or engage a private party to collect some or all
     5  of the delinquent tax liens held by it, as amended by chapter 391 of the
     6  laws of 2017, is amended to read as follows:
     7    § 3. This act shall take effect immediately and shall  expire  and  be
     8  deemed repealed on and after December 31, [2019] 2021.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
