        Introduced  by  Sen.  SEWARD -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules
 
        AN ACT to amend the insurance law,  in  relation  to  reporting  by  the
          superintendent of financial services
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Paragraph 2 of subsection (l) of section 3425 of the insur-
     2  ance law, as amended by section 2 of part B of chapter 78 of the laws of
     3  2014, is amended to read as follows:
     4    (2) The superintendent shall collect, analyze and compile such reports
     5  with regard to the number of  new  insureds,  non-renewed  insureds  and
     6  business  written  by each insurer in each rating territory of each such
     7  insurer and, in each case, the class of insureds (including age and sex)
     8  affected so that a statistical analysis of the results obtained pursuant
     9  to subsections (f) and (m) of this  section,  and  the  reasons  in  the
    10  aggregate  for  the  non-renewal  of policies shall be provided to [each
    11  house of the legislature by  March  fifteenth,  in  the  years  nineteen
    12  hundred  ninety-two, nineteen hundred ninety-six, nineteen hundred nine-
    13  ty-eight, two thousand one, two thousand six, two  thousand  seven,  two
    14  thousand  eight,  two  thousand  eleven,  two thousand fourteen, and two
    15  thousand seventeen] the speaker of the assembly, the temporary president
    16  of the senate, the chair of the assembly insurance  committee,  and  the
    17  chair of the senate insurance committee on or before June thirtieth, two
    18  thousand twenty and every two years thereafter.
    19    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
