        Introduced  by  Sen. AMEDORE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules
 
        AN ACT to amend the racing, pari-mutuel wagering and  breeding  law,  in
          relation  to unclaimed winnings and refunds from off-track pari-mutuel
          betting; and to repeal subdivision 2 of section 529 of such law relat-
          ing thereto

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Subdivision  2  of section 529 of the racing, pari-mutuel
     2  wagering and breeding law is REPEALED, and a new subdivision 2 is  added
     3  to read as follows:
     4    2.  The balance of such account remaining unclaimed as of the first of
     5  April each year shall be transferred to the regional corporation's oper-
     6  ating account and may be used for any corporate purpose.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
