        Introduced  by Sen. NOZZOLIO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Corporations,  Authorities
          and Commissions
 
        AN  ACT  to  amend  the  public  authorities  law,  in  relation  to the
          construction of facilities by the dormitory authority for Mercy Flight
          Central, Inc., of Central New York
 

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Paragraph  (b)  of  subdivision  2 of section 1676 of the
     2  public authorities law is amended by adding a new undesignated paragraph
     3  to read as follows:
     4    Mercy Flight Central, Inc., of Central New  York,  for  the  financing
     5  and/or refinancing of equipment or the acquisition, construction, recon-
     6  struction,  development,  improvement,  expansion  and/or equipping of a
     7  facility or facilities and necessary ancillary and related facilities.
     8    § 2. Subdivision 1 of section 1680 of the public  authorities  law  is
     9  amended by adding a new undesignated paragraph to read as follows:
    10    Mercy  Flight  Central,  Inc.,  of Central New York, for the financing

    11  and/or refinancing of equipment or the acquisition, construction, recon-
    12  struction, development, improvement, expansion  and/or  equipping  of  a
    13  facility or facilities and necessary ancillary and related facilities.
    14    § 3. Any contracts entered into by the dormitory authority pursuant to
    15  this act shall be deemed state contracts within the meaning of that term
    16  as  set  forth  in  article  15-A of the executive law, and Mercy Flight
    17  Central, Inc., of Central New York shall be deemed, for purposes of this
    18  act, a contracting agency as that term is used in such article.
    19    § 4. This act shall take effect immediately.
