        Introduced  by  Sen. MATTERA -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Commerce, Economic  Devel-
          opment and Small Business
 
        AN  ACT  to  amend  the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to a
          license to sell liquor at retail for consumption on certain premises

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Subdivision  7  of  section  64 of the alcoholic beverage
     2  control law is amended by adding a  new  paragraph  (e-15)  to  read  as
     3  follows:
     4    (e-15)  Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph (a) of this subdi-
     5  vision, the  authority  may  issue  a  retail  license  for  on-premises
     6  consumption  for  a  premises  which shall be located within two hundred
     7  feet of a building occupied as a school, church, synagogue, and/or other
     8  place of worship, provided such premises constitute a premises  for  the
     9  sale  of  food  or  beverages  at retail for consumption on the premises
    10  located wholly within the boundaries of the county of  Suffolk,  bounded
    11  and described as follows:
    12    All  that  certain  parcel  of  land,  situate, lying and being in the
    13  incorporated Village of Northport, Town of Huntington, County of Suffolk
    14  and State of New York, bounded and described as follows:
    15    BEGINNING at a point on the Northerly side of  Main  Street,  distance
    16  403  feet  (tax map distance) from the corner formed by the intersection
    17  of the Northerly side of Main Street with the Westerly side of  Woodside
    18  Avenue,  said  point  also being where the Northerly line of land now or
    19  formerly of O. Hartt intersects the Northerly side of Main Street;
    20    RUNNING THENCE South 77 degrees 26 minutes 20 seconds West  along  the
    21  Northerly  side  of  Main  Street, 50.00 feet to land now or formerly of
    22  Annie S. Wild;
 
         EXPLANATION--Matter in italics (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
                              [ ] is old law to be omitted.

     1    THENCE North 12 degrees 20 minutes 20 seconds West along said land  of
     2  Annie  S.  Wild,  199.99 feet to land now or formerly of Charles M. Wild
     3  and Frances E. Wild;
     4    THENCE  along said last mentioned land, North 77 degrees 26 minutes 20
     5  seconds East, 50.00 feet to land now or formerly of John W. Hiltman;
     6    THENCE South 12 degrees 29 minutes 40 seconds East and along the  land
     7  now  or  formerly of John W. Hiltman, 50.00 feet to land now or formerly
     8  of O. Hartt;
     9    THENCE South 12 degrees 17 minutes 00 seconds East and along the  land
    10  now  or  formerly of O. Hartt, 149.99 feet to the Northerly side of Main
    11  Street at the point or place of BEGINNING.
    12    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
