        Introduced  by  Sen.  DIAZ  --  read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Aging
 
        AN ACT to amend the elder law, in relation to  the  naturally  occurring
          retirement community supportive service program
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 

     1    Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subdivision 1 of section 209 of the  elder
     2  law is amended to read as follows:
     3    (b)  "Elderly"  or  "elderly persons" shall mean persons who are sixty
     4  years of age or older [and who are heads of households].
     5    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
