        Introduced  by  Sen.  FUNKE  -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Agriculture
 
        AN ACT to amend the agriculture and markets  law,  in  relation  to  the
          creation of an agricultural assessment online database
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Section 304-a of the agriculture and markets law is amended
     2  by adding a new subdivision 6 to read as follows:
     3    6. The commissioner of taxation and finance shall  post  the  sale  of
     4  agricultural  properties  to an online database within sixty days of the
     5  sale of such property. Such online database  shall  provide  for  single
     6  county, regional or state-wide searches for primary agricultural proper-
     7  ty classifications. Such database shall include all agricultural proper-
     8  ty  sales  from all counties. To the greatest extent possible, the sales
     9  search results should follow USDA agricultural property sales  standards
    10  including location, seller, buyer, consideration, terms of sale, contri-
    11  butory  values  of  buildings,  soils  reports, facilities, and comments
    12  provided by the assessor.
    13    § 2. This act shall take effect on the one hundred eightieth day after
    14  it shall have become a law. Effective immediately, the addition,  amend-
    15  ment and/or repeal of any rule or regulation necessary for the implemen-
    16  tation  of  this act on its effective date are authorized to be made and
    17  completed on or before such date.
