        Introduced  by  Sen. PERALTA -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules
 
        AN ACT to amend the alcoholic  beverage  control  law,  in  relation  to
          authorizing  the  state liquor authority to retain monies collected as
          fines for use for the operational purposes of the state liquor author-
          ity

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Section  130  of  the  alcoholic  beverage control law is
     2  amended by adding a new subdivision 6 to read as follows:
     3    6. Any fines collected pursuant to  the  provisions  of  this  section
     4  shall  be  retained  by  the  liquor authority and shall be used for the
     5  operational purposes of the liquor authority, including but not  limited
     6  to liquor authority enforcement activities throughout the state.
     7    §  2. This act shall take effect on the first of January next succeed-
     8  ing the date upon which it shall have become a law.
