AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to
authorizing hunting big game by rifle in the county of Tompkins; and
providing for the repeal of such provisions upon expiration thereof
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of the
2 environmental conservation law is amended by adding a new item (o) to
3 read as follows:
4 (o) The county ofDeer, the firstPistol, shotgun,
5 TompkinsSaturday after Novembercrossbow, muzzle
6 15 through first Sundayloading firearm,
7 after December 7rifle or long bow
8 § 2. Item (f) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of
9 the environmental conservation law, as separately amended by chapters
10 125 and 243 of the laws of 2017, is amended to read as follows:
11 (f) Southern tier, Deer, first Pistol, shotgun,
12 central and Western Monday after November crossbow,
13 region, except those 15 through first muzzle loading
14 counties or portions Tuesday after firearm or
15 thereof listed in December 7 long bow only
16 item (i), (j), (k),
17 (l), (m) [or], (n)
18 or (o) of
19 this paragraph
20 § 3. Paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of the environ-
21 mental conservation law is amended by adding a new item (m) to read as
22 follows:

6 § 4. Item (f) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of
7 the environmental conservation law, as separately amended by chapters
8 125, 133, 204, and 243 of the laws of 2017, is amended to read as
9 follows:
10 (f) Southern tier, Deer and bear, first Pistol, shotgun,
11 central and Western Monday after November crossbow, muzzle
12 region, except those 15 through first loading firearm
13 counties or portions Tuesday after or long bow only
14 thereof listed in December 7
15 item (i), (j), (j),
16 (k) [or], (l) or (m)
17 of this paragraph
18 § 5. This act shall take effect immediately, provided that:
19 a. the amendments to paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907
20 of the environmental conservation law made by section one of this act
21 shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such paragraph
22 pursuant to section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as amended;
23 b. the amendments to item (f) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of
24 section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section
25 two of this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such
26 paragraph pursuant to section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as
27 amended;
28 c. sections three and four of this act shall take effect upon the
29 expiration and reversion of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section
30 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law, as provided in section 13
31 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as amended; and
32 d. nothing contained in this act shall be construed so as to extend
33 the provisions of this act beyond October 1, 2022, when upon such date
34 this act shall expire and the provisions contained herein shall be
35 deemed repealed.
