Go to topSTATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 9019 IN SENATE October 2, 2020 ___________ Introduced by Sen. SALAZAR -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules AN ACT directing the New York state energy research and development authority to establish a ride clean rebate program The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. The New York state energy research and development authori- 2 ty (NYSERDA) is hereby directed to establish a parallel program to the 3 drive clean rebate program entitled the ride clean rebate program to 4 permit class one, class two, and class three bicycles with an electric 5 assist to be eligible for a fifty percent rebate, with a maximum rebate 6 amount of one thousand one hundred dollars ($1,100). 7 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in italics (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [] is old law to be omitted. LBD17154-01-0
