        Introduced  by Sen. HARCKHAM -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Environmental Conservation
 
        AN ACT to  amend  chapter 550 of the laws of 2013 amending the  environ-
          mental conservation law relating to establishing the  mercury  thermo-
          stat collection act, in relation to the effectiveness thereof

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 4 of chapter 550 of the laws of 2013, amending  the
     2  environmental  conservation  law  relating  to  establishing the mercury
     3  thermostat collection act, is amended to read as follows:
     4    § 4. This act shall take effect immediately and shall  expire  and  be
     5  deemed repealed January 1, [2024] 2025.
     6    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
