        Introduced  by  M.  of  A. D. ROSENTHAL -- read once and referred to the
          Committee on Election Law
 
        AN ACT to amend the New York city charter, in relation to requiring  the
          board  of  elections  in  the city of New York to release certain data
          relating to ranked choice elections

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1. Subdivision f of section 1057-g of the New York city char-
     2  ter is amended by adding a new paragraph 3 to read as follows:
     3    3. When making the statement of results of a  ranked  choice  election
     4  pursuant  to  section  9-126  or 9-210 of the election law, the board of
     5  elections in the city of New York  shall  release  data  on  how  voters
     6  ranked all candidates, even if a single candidate received a majority of
     7  highest  rank votes and the tabulation process as described in paragraph
     8  two of subdivision e of this section was not triggered.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
