Introduction of Assembly Member Al Taylor
January 17, 2018
"I know we in this body have been sent here by our constituent base to serve. And if we're going to live out the model of Dr. King, it's going to require all of us rolling up our sleeves and working. One of the things that I find time and time again when I'm standing on the streets, no one is interested in my political affiliation or my religious beliefs when someone has been shot or there is an injustice somewhere, such as what took place in the White House and the comments. It requires all of us to roll up our sleeves and do what is right," said Assemblymember Al Taylor speaking on a resolution that calls for observance of the 33rd Annual Martin Luther King Day in the State of the New York, on January 15, 2018.
