ID Cards

    Free Senior ID Cards to any Erie County resident 65+. Senior ID cards enable use of the NFTA/Metro System at reduced fares and it can also be used as a form of identification for merchants who provide senior discounts. Visit the Erie County Senior Services office between 9:00am-4:00pm at 95 Franklin St in Buffalo, 13th floor to sit for an ID photo. Residents must bring another form of ID.

    Free Senior ID Cards to any Niagara County resident 60+. Senior ID cards display a photo and identifying information on the front, and can list two emergency contacts and pertinent medical information on the back. ID cards are offered the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Contact Niagara County Office for the Aging to provide the information you would like listed on the card. An appointment will then be scheduled for an ID photo at the Sheriff’s Office. Residents must bring proof of their name, address and date of birth, as Niagara County will follow NYS DMV requirements for proof of identity.
