Morinello: Amazon’s Decision is Discouraging for New York State

A statement from Assemblyman Angelo J. Morinello (R,C,I,Ref-Niagara Falls).

“It’s discouraging that even $3 billion in state incentives can’t lure in one of the largest businesses in the world to New York state.  Amazon’s decision is the result of our poor business climate, high taxes and struggling economy, and signifies why things need to change in our state. In order to move forward, we should first work to improve life for its taxpayers. If we re-direct this $3 billion and offer tax breaks to small businesses, we can still spark our economy and keep thousands more from leaving our state in the future.”
