Morinello Urges Public to Attend Informational Cashless Tolls Event

Assemblyman Angelo J. Morinello (R,C,I,Ref-Niagara Falls) is pleased to announce the Thruway Authority will host an informational consumer outreach event on cashless tolling installation in the Western New York Region on Wednesday, May 15. The event will be held at the Western NY Welcome Center at 1999 Alvin Road in Grand Island. Attendees will also have an opportunity to get E-ZPass On-The-To tags and receive personalized customer assistance for E-ZPass and Tolls by Mail customers. Those interested should sign up for an appointment with a Thruway Authority representative by emailing public.info@thruway.ny.gov or call (518) 471-5300.

“I’m encouraged the Thruway Authority agreed to host this event to help inform the public about electronic tolls,” said Morinello. “For some time, Sen. Jacobs and I have heard from constituents facing difficulties with their E-ZPasses, so we called on the Thruway Authority to step up efforts to inform New Yorkers about this system. This informational session will be an excellent opportunity to ease public concern and to learn about this modernized toll system. I’d like to thank the Thruway Authority for opting to host this event and encourage residents in my district to attend.”
