Miller on Gov. Hochul’s State of The State Speech
A Statement from Assemblyman Brian Miller (R, C-New Hartford).
January 9, 2024
“Governor Hochul’s speech was an opportunity to critically examine the policies and decisions made by Majority leadership in our great state of New York. Instead, what we heard echoed familiar talking points from previous State of the State addresses. Today, the Governor discussed record-setting outmigration, skyrocketing cost of living, and public safety and mental health concerns. However, while these topics were highlighted, I do have concerns about the practicality of implementing the proposed plans. Our constituents deserve tangible and impactful solutions. I’m hopeful there will be a course-correction during these next several months of session in Albany.”
