Assemblyman Brian Miller (R,C-New Hartford) announced that the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) has awarded $307,500 in grants to arts organizations and creative professionals across the 122nd Assembly District for the 2026 Fiscal Year. These investments are made possible through the Legislature’s $161 million commitment to the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) which will strengthen local arts programming, deliver community-based services and support the cultural institutions that enrich communities throughout the region.

“I am proud to support and excited to see this significant investment coming into our district. These grants represent a meaningful investment in the artists, educators and organizations that bring creativity, expression and opportunity to our district. The arts are not only a cultural cornerstone, they also are an investment in our communities. By continuing to invest in NYSCA, we are protecting a vital economic engine and ensuring that future generations inherit a strong and vibrant arts community for the 122nd District and across the State,” said Miller.
