Miller Statement on Remington Arms
As New Yorkers come to face the new realities of life impacted by the coronavirus head-on, I am encouraged by the outpouring of support and generosity of so many in our community looking after their neighbors, supporting their local economy, or volunteering their services and goods for the greater good. Yesterdays announcement by Remington Arms that they have volunteered use of their 1-million-square-foot facility to the service of our state is another example of how New Yorkers rise above and come together in times of need. For generations, Remington has supported the Mohawk Valley and they have stood up to do it once again as we all continue coming together to combat this epidemic. I hope the governor will find a use for this facility in our states collective war against COVID-19 and know our community stands ready to serve.
