“It’s very unfortunate to see the Assembly Majority’s priorities for this year’s budget. People are struggling with inflation and worried about crime on their streets. We should be focusing on giving immediate economic relief during a time of rapid inflation or addressing the dire teacher shortage, not ramping up spending by $10 billion plus on projects that don’t create jobs or protect the lives of all New Yorkers.”
