Hello family,

I hope you all are having a great summer. I want to inform you all that from August 20th - 23rd, I will attend this year's NYS Senate Delegation Trip to the Dominican Republic, organized by the Office of New York State Senator Luis Sepúlveda. During this trip, my colleagues and I will connect with local officials. We will visit the Senate, Assembly, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Fifty-six percent of my district is Latino, and 19,000 people are of Dominican descent. Therefore, it is essential that I visit the homeland of my constituents and learn about the issues that impact them back home. I believe this experience will give me the insight to better serve the district.
