Bayside, NY - Assemblyman Edward C. Braunstein (D-Bayside) is happy to announce his annual Halloween Essay & Drawing Contest, open to students in grades two through five who live or go to school in Assembly District 26. District-wide prizes will be awarded to the winner in each grade and New York State Assembly Certificates of Merit will be awarded to all students who participate.
The essay or drawing should have a Halloween theme, such as an account of the student’s favorite trick or treating experience.
“This October, I’m inviting Northeast Queens students to get into the Halloween spirit and submit a spooky essay or drawing to my office’s annual contest,” said Assemblyman Edward Braunstein. “With Halloween just around the corner, I look forward to reviewing your creative entries as we prepare to celebrate the holiday.”
If a student is interested in participating, they are asked to please print their full name, grade, and school on their entry. Essays and drawings may be submitted to Assemblyman Braunstein’s office by mail or drop-off to 213-33 39th Avenue, Suite 238, Bayside, NY 11361, or email to email@example.com. Entries may be of any size or format. The contest deadline is Friday, November 3, 2023.
