Bayside, NY – Assemblyman Edward C. Braunstein (D-Bayside) is happy to announce the four winners of his annual Halloween Essay & Drawing Contest. The grand prize winners are:

• 2nd grade: Olivia Chen, P.S. 184 in Whitestone, Drawing, “Untitled”
• 3rd grade: Angie Ng, P.S. 107 in Flushing, Illustrated Short Story, “Stuck at a Haunted House”
• 4th grade: Yinuo Zhang, P.S. 41 in Bayside, Drawing, “Untitled”
• 5th grade: Gloria Nam, P.S. 213 in Oakland Gardens, Short Story, “The Night of TERROR”

“Olivia, Angie, Yinuo and Gloria each made their family and school community proud with their imaginative and well-composed entries to my office’s Halloween Essay & Drawing Contest,” said Assemblyman Braunstein. “I want to thank each and every local student who got into the spirit of Halloween and submitted entries to this year’s contest.”

All winners received a special New York State Assembly Certificate of Merit and an Amazon gift card. All contest participants will receive a Certificate of Merit.
