Ra Proud to Announce 2025 Italian-American Conference Scholarship Opportunities Open Now
Assemblyman Ed Ra (R-Franklin Square) is proud to announce that the New York Conference of Italian-American State Legislators is now accepting applications for its 2025 scholarship program. These scholarships provide financial assistance to outstanding students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership and community involvement. The scholarships are available to non-Italian individuals as well.
Applications for the Sen. James D. Conte Memorial Academic Scholarship and the Sen. John J. Marchi Memorial Athletic Scholarship are now open and will close on March 30, 2025, at 5 p.m. Each scholarship awards $3,000 to deserving students pursuing higher education. A total of four scholarships will be awarded to New York state college students or college-bound high school seniors—two academic and two athletic scholarships. Winners will be announced in April and will be invited to Albany on Monday, May 19, 2025, to receive their awards at the annual Italian-American Day Celebration.
“Helping students pursue their educational goals is one of the most impactful ways we can invest in our future generation,” said Ra. “I encourage all eligible students to apply and take advantage of this opportunity to support their academic journey.”
