Ra Honors Willow Road School For Summer Reading Challenge

Assemblyman Ed Ra (21st Assembly District) today presented an Assembly Proclamation to Willow Road Elementary School, recognizing those students who distinguished themselves through their outstanding participation in Ra’s first annual Summer Reading Challenge. Ra commended the students for reading and learning during the summer months, and noted their achievements would be recognized both in and out of the classroom.

“Both educators and parents help shape and influence the strong foundation our students need today to help them achieve success tomorrow,” said Ra. “Willow Road had over 60 students participate in my first Summer Reading Challenge, a number which reflects the drive to challenge themselves to be better students. Under the leadership of Superintendent Dr. Adrienne Robb-Fund, Principal Stephanie Capozzoli and Willow Road Elementary Librarian Carol Anne Gravert, these students continue to strive for excellence by building their literacy skills during the summer months.”
