Ra & Curran Team Up With West Hempstead Kiwanis To Fight Hunger
Assemblymen Ed Ra and Brian Curran are proud to join the West Hempstead Kiwanis Club in fighting hunger in our communities this holiday season.
“Every day, thousands of people on Long Island go hungry,” Ra said, adding, “Residents can help fellow Long Islanders who are in need of food by stopping by the West Hempstead Library to donate any non-perishable food item, which will be donated to The INN (Interfaith Nutrition Network) in Hempstead. I thank Assemblyman Curran and the West Hempstead Kiwanis for joining us to fight hunger this holiday season.”
“This holiday season, we all must join together to fight hunger, and we must remember the families struggling after Superstorm Sandy's devastation. I am honored to partner with Assemblyman Ed Ra and The West Hempstead Kiwanis Club in order to help our local residents in need,” said Assemblyman Brian Curran
“I hope you will join Assemblymen Ed Ra, Brian Curran and me to help the INN provide our less fortunate neighbors with the food they need this holiday season,” West Hempstead Kiwanis President, George Silkes, said.
The West Hempstead Public Library is located at 500 Hempstead Avenue in West Hempstead and will be accepting donations until December 17.
