Ra Celebrates National Nurses Week At Franklin Hospital

Assemblyman Ed Ra (19th Assembly District) recently honored Nurses Week in New York State by recognizing the wonderful staff at Franklin Hospital. Noting that nurses serve as the backbone of the healthcare industry, Ra stated that recognizing Nurses Week in New York highlights not only the tremendous role nurses play in providing medical and emotional care to a patient and their family, but also the crucial role they play in patient treatment.

“It was truly a pleasure to honor the staff at Franklin Hospital during Nurses Week this year,” said Ra. “The staff here provides outstanding care to members of our community through both their inpatient and outpatient services. However, they would not be able to provide this high level of care without the dedicated work performed by their tremendous staff of nurses. They not only provide skilled medical care, but also work hard to build a relationship with the patient and their family, providing comfort and care in their time of need. I would like to join the residents of our community by expressing heartfelt appreciation for all the outstanding work done by the nurses here at Franklin Hospital and the nurses across Long Island.”
