Novakhov Blasts Anti-Semitic Legislation

Today, Assemblyman Michael Novakhov (R-Brooklyn) reacted to an anti-Semitic bill introduced by New York Socialists. At a time where anti-Semitic crime and rhetoric is on the rise, this bill is completely tone deaf and bigoted. The bill (A.6943) would make it illegal to donate to groups that are affiliated with Israel.
“This is an absolutely disgusting, hateful, anti-Semitic bill that was introduced and supported by New York Socialists, that should tell you all you need to know about this hateful bill. The not-for-profits targeted by this bill provide helpful and vital services to all New Yorkers regardless of faith. The Assembly should be focused on issues that will help New Yorkers, not this hateful Socialist virtue signaling. I will fight vigorously to ensure this bill does not see the light of day and is promptly defeated.”
