"In many instances my district was ground zero to a number of incidents where people had to be exonerated, a number of them occurred in the Ocean-Hill Brownsville section of my neighborhood, and it's not uncommon for me to have people who come into my office who said they have done 27 years and they were wrongfully convicted," said Assemblywoman Latrice Walker on legislation she helped pass that would create the State Commission on Prosecutorial Conduct to ensure justice is served and provide transparency.   (A05285-C)
