Assemblyman David DiPietro Addressed Gun Appreciation Day In Buffalo

Assemblyman David DiPietro (R,C-East Aurora) addressed the crowd at Gun Appreciation Day in Buffalo on Sunday, January 19, 2013. He was the only elected official to speak at the event.

“It was a great honor to give an address surrounded by so many individuals who honor and appreciate their Second Amendment rights,” DiPietro said. “Although this is my first term in the legislature, I look forward to leading the fight against the aggressive attacks on our fundamental rights as Americans. I voted against the gun control bill presented to the legislature last week and would proudly do so again.”

The rally was held in Niagara Square in Buffalo during the afternoon of Sunday, January 19. The event was organized by New York Tea Party leader Rus Thompson. Assemblyman DiPietro remained at the event long after its closing to speak to constituents about their concerns regarding the new legislation.
