Brook-Krasny Declares Victory in Effort to ‘Pump The Brakes’ on Congestion Pricing

“President Trump’s decision to axe the governor’s commuter tax is a victory for all New Yorkers,” said Brook-Krasny. “Congestion pricing was never going to work for our city. All it would have done is drive up daily costs for residents who are simply trying to make a living during one of the most unaffordable times in our city’s history. I want to thank this new administration for its work in reversing this policy, and I look forward to continuing to work with them to make New York more affordable for all.
